Dear friends,

The past few years have been an interesting challenge of learning to balance life as a mother and life as an artist. Just when I thought I might have been able to manage it, the pandemic hit. Now it is even more challenging! Nevertheless, I am very excited to share my new work with you in any way possible. To that end, I am compiling an email list as well as a regular mailing list. Additionally,  I have joined the world of social media, and can be found on Facebook @whitneyriverart, and on Instagram @whitneyriverart. My website, www.whitneyriver.com,  is updated regularly with new work, including prices, and I now have a contact page with the option to join my mailing list. If you would prefer not to receive any further emails from me, please reply to this one with “unsubscribe” as the subject. Rest assured that my future emails will not be frequent, will always include an unsubscribe link, and addresses will never be shared.

Meanwhile, I invite you to watch a presentation of my drawings this Thursday evening, July 30th, at 7:30, which will accompany a performance of Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-flat major. Since all live performances at the fantastic Bay Chamber Concerts and Music School had to be cancelled this summer due to the pandemic, they are offering weekly audio recordings from past concerts, paired with images of artwork by Maine artists. Thank you to Bay Chamber for including me in this wonderful confluence of art and music.

I hope you are handling these difficult times as well as possible. I would love to hear from you.

Best wishes,

Whitney
